Purchasing & Inventory Control Specialist

Brampton, Canada BMS Enterprises Full time

BMS Enterprises is seeking a Purchaser / Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Brampton, ON. This position will be responsible for communicating and negotiating with suppliers, creating purchase orders to maintain inventory levels, managing inventory in SAP, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and working with the warehouse manager to ensure inventory is received in good condition.

**Essential Functions**:

- Communicate with freight and logistics
- Manage inventory control activities including receiving, shipping, and receiving accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of all received items
- Maintain inventory control records, including but not limited to purchase orders, invoices, and bills of lading.
- Review and process all incoming products.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of BMS Enterprises' products, including trending products
- Work with the warehouse manager to ensure that inventory is received in good condition.
- Communicate regularly with suppliers regarding their orders and deliveries.
- Ensure all shipments are received in good condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree from a post secondary institution is preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a similar warehouse position required; Procurement & Logistics experience preferred.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with SAP is considered a strong asset as well.
- Strong attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
