About Us

At Robin's Auto Parts Ltd., we're seeking a skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality products for resale.

Job Summary

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a permanent full-time position, working 30-40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and purchasing products from suppliers in urban areas, wholesale establishments, and retail businesses.
  • Negotiating prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers.
  • Maintaining adequate stock levels and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to outlets.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and reviewing requirements to determine product quantities and types to purchase.
  • Selecting and purchasing merchandise for resale, including visiting trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education and at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in sales, buying, or a related field.
  • Strong skills in database software, planogram software, spreadsheet applications (e.g., MS Excel), and internet research.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A strong attention to detail, flexibility, and initiative are essential for this role.
