**Job Overview**:
This position will be responsible for execution of several tasks in accounting defined by process or area of responsibility. In this role, the position will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to, and implementation of financial policies and procedures and support as business partner the overall results of the region. This position reports to the Regional Finance Manager.

The position is expected to be onsite, 3 times per week minimum, in our Operation Plant in Dallas - TX.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepares and records assigned journal entries for monthly closing and support the RFM on closing activities (Inventory Cost Analysis, Margin and Other Operational related Issues)
- Provide support to the Regional Financial Manager with Budget and Forecasting Activities and assist with top priorities of the region.
- Engage with Coral Gables Team in providing support for accounting & operations (i.e. variance analysis Actual x Budget X Forecast)
- Reconciles specified general ledger accounts.
- Reviews for accuracy and corrects posting entries.
- Conduct monthly consolidation review for various Del Monte subsidiaries, investigate and document variances and prepare journal entries as needed.
- Manages accounting records and files, including journal vouchers, cash payments, and cash requirements.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting.
- Participates in monthly and annual closing as required.
- Assist with the preparation of financial and Ad Hoc projects as needed.
- Organize schedules for internal and external auditors.

**Qualifications**:
**Required**:

- 4-year College Degree (Accounting, Business or similar) from an accredited institution.
- At least 3 years of experience in cost/operations accounting or finance positions as analysis
- Experience with SAP financials and related modules and or Oracle.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Knowledge of accounting updates.
- Good analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills (i.e. oral and written).
- Well organized and able to multi-task.

- Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Manage revenue recognition and revenue management processes.
- Perform technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
- Manage investment portfolios and make investment decisions.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. CPA or CFA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in public accounting or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and regulations.
- Experience in investment management and portfolio analysis.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficient in using financial software systems.

Pay: $53,098.94-$163,014.07 per year
