_**Manager of Finance role in a leading non profit organization into the Mental Health and Addictions space in downtown Toronto. (Urgent Hiring )**_

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with schedule building, interim audit procedures and leads the creation of schedules for reporting purposes
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes and involves creation of journals as well as carrying out monthly reconciliations independently for areas as set by the Director / Senior Director of Finance
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and ASNPO standards and raises the need to change the accounting issues with the Director of Finance where needed
- Help with continuously improving financial processes, reporting documents and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and various stakeholders on exiting projects and carrying out a regular analysis of the areas assigned and highlighting all problems to the Director of Finance
- Make recommendations for enhancing divisional efficiency and quality of service by identifying client needs, emerging trends, and opportunities
- Identifying service gaps and help bridge delivery gaps and recommend new services
- Ensure effective teamwork and timely communication of all issues noted.
- Work as a team in cohesion with other Finance Managers to get out the report

**Qualifications**:
**Mandatory**:

- Graduate degree in Accounting and Finance is a must
- 5+ years of experience in core accounting / financial analysis and reporting
- CPA designation or in the final stages
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity preferred with IFRS guidelines and regulatory accounting standards

**Preferred**:

- Experience with financial software and Great Plains
- Advanced Excel skills, including using complex formulas in excel
- Power BI is a great skill to have

Pay: $78,000.00-$105,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
