Summary

As an Analyst, you will work with the Total Rewards team members while you develop technical knowledge and skills and gain experience working with a variety of projects across our lines of business. You will have immediate exposure to assignments which will work on your ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and present results. These experiences will help build your technical knowledge and overall benefits and pension expertise while you benefit from more structured learning interventions that are tailored to our business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Exposure to an environment that fosters continuous development of research and technical rewards skills
- Request or run reports to gather data from vendors; review to ensure it is complete and accurate; provide analysis and/or prepare and send the data to internal HR teams
- Collect, manipulate, reconcile, and review participant data - identifying and resolving issues as they arise
- Process monthly benefit billings on a timely basis
- Manage disability leaves process for short-term and long-term disability leaves and liaise with internal and external disability management vendors
- Prepare disability reports on a timely basis to assist with regular payroll cycles and provide status updates to payroll
- Assist in the annual benefits renewal process, testing of benefit portals, and communication to employees
- Liaise with benefit vendors and provide employee data as required
- Send requests for coverage approvals to external vendor
- Summarize data, analysis, key findings and recommendations in HR ready format by working directly with team members to prepare these reports and presentations
- Build a balance of technical, operational, compliance responsibilities, providing the challenges necessary to develop your analytical skills
- Manage multiple mailboxes and responses
- Set-up of training sessions, room bookings and distribution list preparation as required
- Point of contact for wellbeing programs and admin portals, and engage with internal and external vendors for appropriate response to employees
- Manage global mobility requests including visa processes
- Manage Service Awards program
- Contribute to the team by assisting, where possible, during the year-end compensation cycle process

Succeeding as a Benefits and Pension Analyst will require the following core qualifications and skills:

- Diligent, self-starter
- Exceptional Microsoft Office experience with proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Creative, analytical and results-oriented, demonstrated through the ability to draw conclusions, themes, and trends from data analysis
- A polished presence with well-developed written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable working in teams
- Bilingual preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a benefits and pension environment, completion of Post Secondary Education in an HR related field and completed or pursuing Certification in the CEBS program or equivalent
