**Job Title**: Manager, Digital Experience

**Reporting To**: Director, Marketing

**Purpose**: To strategically manage and enhance the organization's online presence, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience across all digital platforms.

**Overview**:
The BC Parks Foundation’s goal is to create the greatest system of parks and protected areas on earth. It has launched a 25x25 expedition with four objectives, including protecting land and waters, safe and responsible enjoyment, improving human health, and safeguarding biodiversity.

The Foundation measures its success by meeting the mission targets outlined above, and by the number of supporters and resources (funds, volunteer hours, in-kind, etc.) generated for its mission. A key element of achieving our goals, objectives, and metrics is to engage people, increasing their enjoyment, learning, health, and charitable giving to nature.

**Role Summary**:
The Digital Experience Manager will play a crucial role in managing, strategizing, and enhancing the digital presence of the BC Parks Foundation. This includes overseeing the operations, maintenance, and development of the Foundation's multiple websites. The role is central to ensuring that our digital platforms effectively communicate our brand, engage our audiences, and support our overall marketing and organization’s strategic goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with Marketing Director to lead the strategic planning and execution of website and other digital initiatives (newsletters, Shopify integrations, etc.) to align with the Foundation's key communication and engagement objectives.
- Regularly evaluate and update existing websites to ensure they remain current, relevant, and aligned with the Foundation's goals.
- Collaborate with external agencies to develop new websites on appropriate content management systems.
- Work closely with internal teams to update and maintain website properties, ensuring a cohesive and branded online experience.
- With the Marketing Director, produce an annual Website Plan outlining:

- Key brand communication and engagement objectives for the websites
- Changes and improvements to functionality, content and layout that will be necessary to support the Website Plan
- Necessary timing, resources, and budget to execute the Website Plan.
- Coordinate with external partners and agencies, building strong relationships to support digital projects.
- Work alongside the program, marketing, and creative teams to analyze campaign results and identify digital opportunities.
- Define and use key metrics to optimize the websites as a delivery mechanism for brand engagement and content
- Provide input to financial budget forecasting and manage expenses in accordance with the website budget.

All employees may carry out a range of functions beyond their core roles and are expected to help with advancing the organization as a whole.

**Qualifications**:

- Five years of relevant experience in an agency or corporate setting
- Experience managing, coaching, and mentoring direct reports
- Proficiency in managing the operation and development of multiple corporate websites
- Experience working with external website design and development agencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress.
- Basic proficiency in HTML and understanding of web technologies.
- Strategic thinker with a strong grasp of digital marketing and user experience trends.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.

**Work Environment**:

- This is a full-time position (40 hrs/week, Monday to Friday)
- The position will work a hybrid schedule of in person (2-3 days in the office) and work from home
