**The opportunity**:
Reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure Maintenance, the incumbent is primarily responsible for providing maintenance and support to existing systems. The incumbent also analyzes, designs, develops and implements new and/or modified solutions for clients and conducts quality assurance activities. The area of focus for this position is: Network.

**The qualifications and experience we’re looking for**:

- A Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- Directly applicable industry certifications are an asset.
- 3 years of experience working in infrastructure as a network sysadmin performing investigation, configuration, design, development, maintenance and support, with enterprise level systems within a large business environment is required.
- Experience with TCP/IP fundamentals and understanding of common network protocols including; TCP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, DNS, SIP, RTP is required.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated network troubleshooting skills including the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network configuration, hardware or software system problems is required.
- Familiarity with network security and secure network configuration practices is an asset.
- Familiarity of IP-based unified communications and collaboration systems and supporting network protocols including SIP is an asset.
- Familiarity with infrastructure cable plant (copper and fibre) is an asset.
- Knowledge of scripting using Python, Powershell or other scripting platform is an asset.
- ITIL foundations is an asset.
- Must be self-motivated and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with users of varying levels of technical expertise is required.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software and system problems is required.
- Demonstrated workload organization and prioritization skills is required.
- Demonstrated teamwork/collaboration skills is required.
- Ability to develop strong interpersonal working relationships is required.
- Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
