**The opportunity**:
Reporting to the Manager - IT Systems, the Systems Support Analyst will be responsible for resolving hardware and software issues, managing incidents, supporting users, troubleshooting network problems, documenting solutions, providing remote assistance, tracking requests, monitoring systems, collaboration with internal teams as well as vendors, and improving support processes.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing one-on-one end-user support, including software and hardware troubleshooting, both remote and on-site.
- Performing in-person, on-site repairs of PC desktop hardware, printers, and other peripherals.
- Diagnosing and resolving minor network issues (e.g. LAN access).
- Recognizing and escalating deeper and more complex issues to the Senior Support Analyst.
- Conducting regular system backups and ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery plans are in place.
- Coordinating and executing system upgrades, patches, and software installations.
- Conducting hardware and software inventory management and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Providing user training and creating documentation for system usage and best practices.
- Conducting regular security audits and implementing necessary measures to protect systems and data.
- Assisting with the management of user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
- Participating in the evaluation and selection of new hardware, software, and IT solutions.
- Maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
- Adhering to IT policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
- Contributing to team meetings, projects, and initiatives to improve overall IT operations.
- Developing and maintaining inventory on all desktop-related equipment.
- Maintaining service logs to document instances of desktop equipment or component equipment failure, repair, installation, and
removal.
- Providing mobile support to users.

***Technical qualifications**:

- 3+ years of experience in an M365 environment.
- 5+ years of desktop support experience.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or Cisco Certified Network Associate), preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and professionally across all levels of the organization.
