Tundra is seeking a **Network Analyst **based out of our Winnipeg office**. **The incumbent in this role will be eligible to participate in Tundra’s flexible **hybrid work schedule.**

The Network Analyst’s primary role is to ensure the stable operation of the company’s network infrastructure and systems. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, securing, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links.

Reporting to the Senior Network Analyst the **Network Analyst** is responsible to:

- Maintain and troubleshoot wired and wireless network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, radios.
- Monitor network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, VPN’s, WAN’s, LAN’s, VLAN’s, radios, fiber optics, and internet access.
- Document steps taken and resolution of support issues in IT ticket tracking systems and knowledgebases.
- Communications and connectivity of multiple offices including head office, field offices, and remote office sites and users.
- Reporting on network performance and metrics
- Network security including access control.
- Conduct research on network products, services, standards, and best practices.
- Understanding of the business’s goals, objectives, and direction, and being proactive in providing recommendations.
- Analysis of remote sites networking and making recommendations
- Schedule and perform network improvements, upgrades, firmware upgrades, new deployments, and repairs.
- Asset management & inventory of all network nodes.
- College diploma or university degree in the field of information technology.
- Cisco and Networking certifications.
- Considerable and current experience (3-8 years) in small to medium business technology with specific network support.
- Demonstrated ability to support 300 node and growing network infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability of connecting and maintaining remote offices and users.
- Proficient knowledge of network protocols and security
- Proficient knowledge of network technologies such as firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless network.
- Experience with Cisco, Sonicwall, Cambium and HP network devices recommended.
- Experience and knowledge with virtualization and cloud environment
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.
- Self-motivated and directed.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Willingness and able to travel
- Be available to work on a flexible schedule (nights and weekends are a possibility)
- Willingness to mentor and train less experienced co-workers.
