The Vital Statistics Agency is responsible for registering and issuing certificates against a vital event registry(s) including births, deaths, stillbirths, marriages, change of name, adoptions and wills. The Agency collects data and publishes information through a number of sources including forms, the internet and online transaction processing systems

Reporting to a Regional Manager, the Forms Analyst is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, verifying and documenting business requirements for development and enhancement of forms, certificates and web pages, and delivering solutions based on those requirements. Changes may often be project based and have multiple change drivers including legislation and policy changes.

**Job Requirements**:

- Diploma or certificate in Business Analysis or Communications (i.e. Applied Communications, Technical Communications) and at least one-year related experience OR
- A combination of formal Business Analysis or Technical Communications coursework and two or more years of experience with technical writing supporting Information Management and Technology
- Two or more years experience in forms design and creation using ADOBE products listed in (m) above.
- One or more years of experience developing and delivering public facing products within a fixed legal framework, including FOIPPA.
- Developing communication material using professional desktop publishing such as InDesign and LiveCycle Designer
- Developing and maintaining forms
- Developing Help systems with Help authoring tools such as RoboHelp
- Managing knowledge repository software such as mediawiki and confluence.
- Experience in scripting languages such as JavaScript.
