We are looking for a bilingual, highly effective, organized, team-oriented individual to join our Life Operations team as an Operations Support Specialist on a regular, full-time basis

Reporting to the Associate Manager, SISIP Life Insurance Services, Manulife, you will review our processes to create efficiencies that enhance the customer experience and assist the team to exceed service delivery expectations, impact team outcomes through coaching and support, review and complete first level approval of life claims, provide leadership support, interact with and produce reporting data for multiple business partners (team, policyholder, senior leadership)

**We are looking for someone with**:

- Previous experience with project management, process improvement and/or individual insurance would be beneficial

**On the job you will**:

- Review our methods of service delivery, recommend changes that align with department goals and strive to enhance our service delivery within the SISIP Life Operations department.
- Communicate with various stakeholders to investigate solutions for process and service improvements, manage the implementation of these solutions and track outcomes.
- Gather information from internal software and interpret data to develop and prepare performance reports provided at the team, senior leader and policyholder levels.
- Provide individual and group coaching, skills assessment and assist in creating learning plans for a team of 12-15 individuals.
- Provide training and knowledge support to the SISIP Life Operations team.
- Approve life insurance claims within an authorized limit
- Support the continuous development of training materials and delivery of training for the department
- Develop, document and maintain process documentation
- Support the Associate Manager, Operations
