**Job Description**:
What you’ll be doing

You will provide ongoing support to a team that exceeds expectations for its clients. As a Sales Support Specialist/Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team of Investment Advisors in Wood Gundy's brokerage department. You will work closely with the team of advisors who plan and manage clients' investments. You will play a key role in supporting and servicing high net worth client accounts.

How you’ll succeed- Administrative Support - Maintain compliance standards when dealing with clients or handling client files. Perform administrative duties and participate in administrative processes related to Investment Advisor and team support. Assist in the development of investment plans and written proposals for current and prospective clients. Assist with processes to redirect assets to appropriate financial products based on client risk tolerance and demographic profile as determined by the Investment Advisor.- Analytical Skills - Interpret, validate and execute internal and external client requests by establishing new client signature delegations or modifying existing client signature delegations for complex corporate structures, review existing files and correct documentation deficiencies related to signature delegations or MLA discovered during the audit process.- Critical Thinking - Verify documents in accordance with established signature delegation procedures to confirm that documents received from clients are complete and properly signed. Review complex legal agreements related to cash management products to enable implementation of new products and changes to existing products. Close gaps in signing authority documents, escalate unresolved issues, enforce policies or engage appropriate internal partners to facilitate resolution.- Engagement - Build a personal rapport so that every interaction is meaningful. Strengthen relationships by working with your team and providing administrative support to ensure customer needs are met. Follow through on requests by answering questions and providing an exceptional experience.- Organizational Skills - Support Investment Advisors by responding quickly to client requests and maintaining compliance standards on all files. Drive team success by improving team productivity, proactively uncovering business opportunities and assisting in the allocation of assets to the right financial products.

You are confident in your ability to communicate detailed information in a powerful way- You are a certified professional (an asset) You have a current Investment Representative (IR) license in good standing and have successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Standards of Conduct Manual (SCM) course as well as the Registered Representative (IR) designation.- Experience in the financial services and brokerage industry and a working knowledge of various listing instruments is required.- You are able to serve clients in the community in both English and French- Values matter to you.
