**POSITION**: Logistics Manager REPORTS TO: Sr Director Supply Chain

We are looking for a Logistics Manager to join our Logistics team Our Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the cycle of order fulfilment and the order process.

You will be challenged with providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders whilst finding efficiencies and constantly looking to improve existing processes. You will play a key role in optimizing the Logistics teams performance, whilst supervising, mentoring and growing the logistics workforce.

EXPERIENCE
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience working in transportation, logistics or a related field
- You have excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- You have a track record of building effective cross-functional relationships

NICE-TO-HAVE
- Experience with Microsoft Great Plains
- Experience working in logistics in a food environment

THINGS YOU WILL DO
- Coordinate all transportation needs
- Help with negotiation of all tariffs and establish relationship with transport companies
- Coordinate multiply shipments to same location cutting costs
- Manage 3PL contracts and selection process
- Come up with 3PL strategy for company with Sr. Director of Supply Chain
- Follow up with designated departments on order management and needs
- Enter all documentation pertaining to customs clearance for shipments
- Follow up with transports on eta’s and actual deliver of products.
- Approve all pricing costs pertaining to shipments
- Follow up on overseas shipments, containers and management of processing fees
- Coordinate between transportation and installation department for reception time of product.
- Keep up to date tracker of daily shipments with pertaining information, order #, tracking, costs
- code freight invoices
- Entering all daily shipments into in-house system if available.
- Entering all small parcel orders and data entry through in-house or software if available.
- Finding more cost-effective ways of reducing transportation costs of shipments
- Advising The department of project management of late orders and orders not shipping on time
- Resolve problems or finding solutions concerning transportation, customer issue, imports, exports
- Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for all functional areas
- Logging costs and keeping KPI information for all assigned carriers each day.
- Streamlines shipping and transportation processes
- preparing daily shipping and customs paperwork
- Reconcile customer deductions and ensure we get refunds back from carrier
- Maintains accurate customer files (including address and contact information)
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services
- Keep track of delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Supervise, coach and train workforce
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

OTHER
- You might need to work outside regular business hours when required
- Valid BC Driver’s License and vehicle

**Salary**: $85,000 - $105,000
