**Job Details**

**Position Title**: Professor, Film & Television Production (Sound)

**Status**:Full Time

**Faculty/Department**: Faculty of Media and Creative Arts / Film, Acting & Media Production

**Campus/Location **Teaching will be assigned at both the North and Lakeshore campuses and may include teaching at the International Graduate School (Toronto).

**Salary**:Academic starting salaries are determined based on qualifications and years of related experience as detailed in the collective agreement for academic employees

**What you will do**:
This position involves teaching sound recording, editing and mixing at an intermediate and senior level, location sound recording using industry standard gear and best practices, and teaching sound editing, design and mixing using AVID Pro Tools software and hardware.

Industry acumen and experience is required, demonstrated ability to teach a number of courses offered by the college, along with specialized skills in the following areas: Post audio editing, including dialog, music, sound effects and design; ADR and foley recording, documentation and editing; and post audio rerecording mixing, in stereo
