As a **Sales Support Analyst** at Skullcandy located in Vancouver, BC, you will be responsible for analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive sales strategies and support operational excellence. You will work cross-functionally with teams including Sales, Demand Planning, Finance, and Marketing to optimize sales performance and improve forecasting accuracy. Your insights will play a critical role in informing decisions related to inventory management, product launches, pricing, promotions, and market expansion.

**Primary Functional Responsibilities**
- ** Data Analysis & Reporting**
- Gather, analyze, and interpret sales data across multiple channels (D2C, retail, e-commerce) to track performance and identify trends.
- Build, maintain, and automate sales dashboards and reports to provide visibility into sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze market, competitor, and product performance to identify opportunities and challenges for growth.
- ** Forecasting & Demand Planning Support**
- Collaborate with the Demand Planning team to refine sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and promotional activities.
- Assist in developing more accurate sales projections to support inventory and production planning.
- ** Sales Strategy & Insights**
- Provide actionable insights on sales performance, promotional effectiveness, and product category performance.
- Identify key sales drivers and potential risks by evaluating channel performance and market dynamics.
- ** Sales Operations Support**
- Assist the Sales and Operations teams with ad hoc reporting, performance evaluations, and budget tracking.
- Support the sales process with data validation, trend analysis, and scenario planning for new business initiatives.
- ** Collaboration & Communication**
- Work closely with the Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on key business objectives.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.

**Required Experience & Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in a sales analysis or similar role, preferably in consumer electronics or retail.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Sisense.
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems; SAP experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights and clear recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
