**Position Summary**:
We are looking for a Customer Development Representative(CDR) for the Sobeys CDT, working from our Brampton location reporting into the Customer Team Lead. This role is responsible and accountable for driving the success of our Sobeys business, and is a fantastic opportunity to help build, develop, and execute strategic plans to continue the growth of the Confectionery portfolio. The CDR will be a direct liaison to our Key Account Manager, providing support and promotional analysis to grow the business through meaningful insights.
**A day in the life of a Customer Development Representative**:
As a CDR, you will be working on our exciting Confectionery business supporting our Key Account Manager. This role is a great opportunity to grow and develop your Sales and Marketing experience. You will contribute to strategic account planning based on internal objectives and trade marketing plans, as well as external competitive marketplace issues and opportunities. You will be working daily with cross-functional teams to develop and execute programs, provide key analytic support, and contribute to customer meetings with lots of autonomy and the support to really thrive.
- You will also:
- Develop and build strategic customer relationships with both the Wholesale & Voila channel on our Confectionery business
- Support our Confectionery KAM and Retail Reps - ensuring priorities our being communicated and best in class execution is delivered against all our major programs/initiatives
- Implement growth strategies that align with annual business plan and sales targets
- Develop key insights on promo analytics and communicate post-mortems on significant activations for both the Seasonal and Everyday Confectionery business
- Drive compliance in specified agreements and contracts
- Collaborate with other groups and departments to significantly contribute to sales growth by supporting the implementation and execution of contracts and agreements.
