Dental Administrator

**Responsibilities**
Welcome and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide excellent customer service.
Verify insurance coverage, process patient payments, and manage billing and insurance claims.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary.
Coordinate referrals to specialists when required.
Manage office supplies and inventory efficiently.
Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
**Requirements**:
**Minimum 5 years experience as a dental receptionist is essential.**
Proficiency in using dental office software; knowledge of Cleardent is advantageous.
In-depth understanding of Canadian dental codes, dental terminology and procedures.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
Proficient in working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Friendly demeanor and a positive attitude.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
IT Savvy
