We are looking for new CPA articling student(s) to add to our team

You could be a fresh graduate looking to start down the CPA path or perhaps you have done a co-op term in public practice and have experience in personal or corporate tax preparation?

Maybe you are currently enrolled in the CPA PEP program, or recently completed the CFE exam and working on completion of their hours requirement?

- Are a problem solver at heart - you love reconciling and balancing
- Use your time efficiently - you know when to push through to solve a problem on your own or when it’s time to stop and ask questions
- Have experience working in a public practice setting in a student or co-op role
- Have experience in preparing Personal or Corporate Tax returns and Notice to Reader Financial Statements
- Prepare easy to follow and well-organized working paper files
- Think logically and have an analytical mindset
- Are a keen team player who can work effectively with other staff at various levels
- Are adaptable to new technologies

**Bonus Experience**:

- Preparation of Review Engagements with well documented work-paper files
- Financial statement preparation: preparing statements in accordance with the Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) including related notes disclosures
- Understanding of corporate tax balances (CDA, RDTOH, GRIP etc.)
- Preparation of personal tax returns
- Preparation of corporate or personal tax planning scenario calculations
- Preparation of Trust tax returns
