Kobo is constantly expanding into new countries and languages and is therefor looking for a Catalogue Development Specialist, Romania (contractor)

**The Role**:
As part of the Publisher Relations and Catalogue Management team, the Catalogue development Specialist works to expand our eBooks and Audiobooks catalogue in new languages and territories.

The Specialist will play a key role to establish new relationships in Romania and act as the Kobo representative to work with publisher to expand their digital business and make their catalogues available on the kobo platform.

By performing business reviews and designing plans you empower publishers to sell more eBooks and Audio books with Rakuten Kobo. Your strong data-driven and analytics approach of the book industry and reading markets is fully focused on making Rakuten Kobo most relevant to both the publishers and our readers.

Overall, you will be responsible for the Kobo eBook and Audiobook catalogue, eBook and audiobook sales, and bringing new customers into the Kobo ecosystem in Romania and more.

**The Team**
You will be part of the Publisher Relations team, which is primarily responsible for delivering the Rakuten Kobo catalogue of eBooks and Audiobooks in all languages. In close collaboration with publishers, the team focusses on making digital reading available to our customers as easy as possible by developing new business models to connect publishers, producers and other content creators to audiences around the world.

Required:

- Minimum 3 years experience, in publishing or content industry in Romania
- You have a passion for eCommerce in general
- Strong analytical skills and you take research initiatives and dig in to solve challenges
- You are strong in keeping track of processes that lead to the goals
- Strong team player, with proven ability to influence at all levels
- You speak English

Nice to haves:

- Fluency in additional languages
- Broader book industry knowledge in the Eastern Europe territories
- Business Development experience
