Reporting to the Executive Vice President & Arena General Manager, this position oversees and provides strategic leadership to the Hospitality division of Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE), including the Sportsbar at Rogers Arena. Serving as a committed member of the Senior Leadership Team, the VP, Hospitality will develop and implement standards of operation to ensure industry leading levels of service to our fans. This position requires effective client contact and communication along with providing leadership to operational management in all areas of food and beverage and event operations.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
(Other duties may be assigned as required)

Provide executive leadership in developing and implementing organizational goals and strategic measures for the hospitality division
Provide executive direction, guidance, and mentorship to the Hospitality division’s Culinary, Premium, and Quick Service leaders
Lead the development and execution of standards of operation throughout front of house departments to ensure the highest level of quality service
Commit to a vision of service that will thrill fans and provide the ultimate fan experience
Oversee food and beverage projections and budgets for assigned accounts and events
Oversee Hospitality event operations to ensure client and guest satisfaction
Acquire detailed understanding of business opportunities that present themselves and that will track with reaching strategic goals within the Hospitality division
Provide general corporate oversight and support including fostering competitive and engaging philosophies/concepts for sales and marketing within the Hospitality division
Work collaboratively with the organization’s leadership group and serve as a committed and responsible member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic planning process

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
Post-secondary degree in Business Administration along with 10+ years of experience in a senior level management position within a related food and beverage and/or large event organization
Demonstrated track record of sales success, conceptual skills, leadership, and organizational abilities, and a proven ability to interact and negotiate and collaborate with senior level management
Skilled at food and beverage and event operations and methods that drive positive results and align with business goals in a premium service environment
Experience in best-in-class customer service philosophies and strategies, particularly in a similar large venue environment
Exceptional premium service acumen and interpersonal communication skills
Skilled at developing and creating dining experiences that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze current business problems and implement recommended solutions
Excellent related technical skills, which include food preparation and presentation, inventory, and cost control
Proven ability to build, motivate and lead teams
Ability to handle conflicting deadlines and prioritize
Ability and willingness to work events, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
