Job Overview:
**Caroline Co-op, **a dynamic and diverse downtown non-profit housing provider, seeks a Coordinator with excellent interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills. **Duties**:
**Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Coordinator’s duties include**:

- Effective day-to-day administration of the office
- Financial management, including accounts receivable, issuing cheques/e-transfers, determining subsidy calculations, coding payable invoices and working with Co-op Treasurer, Bookkeeper and Auditor as required
- Maintaining current Government practices and ensuring the Co-op meets legal obligations, including Co-op By-laws and Cooperative Corporations Act
- Hiring, liaising with and supervision of contractors
- Providing project support
- Marketing of vacant units, credit checks of potential members, waitlist monitoring
- Supporting and advising Board on matters of good governance and membership
- Liaising between Members and Board, and adhering to By-laws
- Attending regular meetings with Board
- Other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of M365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- High degree of accountability towards all tasks
- Financial literacy
- Experience using HMWorx, NewViews or similar property management software
- Experience in property management
- Experience with non-profit Board and Committee support
- The curiosity and drive to become familiar with the Co-op’s bylaws and policies and be able to function within them and support the Members to function within them
- Ability to meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality, work well under pressure, make independent decisions and be a self-starter who can prioritize and work independently for the benefit of the Co-op
- A desire for continuous learning and growth
