**MANDATE**

The Luxus Group wishes to hire an Accounting Manager to add to the finance team. If you love working within a team environment and have proven skills in managing accounting functions in a fast-paced industry, we have an opportunity for you. We are looking for an individual with high integrity, vision, strong interpersonal relations skills and outstanding time management skills to take on the role of Accounting Manager.

Reporting to the LMC Canada Controller and serving as an integral member of the accounting team, the Accounting Manager will initially be responsible for the $40M liquidation of two limited partnerships (Premiere I & II Collections). This will include preparing and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial reporting, as well as overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions of the business. This role will work closely with the Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounting Coordinator and Operations team to manage all finance, accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and other corporate functions.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**

The position will include the following key accountabilities:
**Financial**:

- Act as a trusted advisor to the Controller and other management.
- Execute the financial management of the $40M liquidity event for Premiere I & II Collections over 18-24 months including property dispositions, capital distributions, and investor communications.
- Manage the financial functions, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and analysis for the two limited partnerships.
- Oversee the day-to-day accounts payable & accounts receivable functions. This will include but is not limited to:

- Bi-weekly payment run, review and approval
- Cash management of multiple bank accounts, including cash forecasting and transfers
- Supporting Operations in their mandate to improve financial results, where feasible.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financials and deliver reports to Controller and Executive Team with timely and accurate information.
- Coordinate preparation for review engagements, ensuring proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation are in compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
- Coordinate preparation of annual tax filing requirements: internally & externally prepared including T5013s.
- Updates written documentation of processes and procedures.

- This position will spend the first 18-24 months, executing the Horizon Event for Premiere I & II and will then transition to the new Luxus Vacation Properties Management division. Opportunity for growth.
