**MATERIALS COORDINATOR**

The Materials Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily materials planning and purchasing request for the Meridian Cambridge Location. Ensuring that all projects are manufactured on time using the best material at the best cost possible. Responsibilities will include weekly review of invoices, monthly review and sign off, of the inventory sub ledgers, conducting an annual inventory count and audit, reviewing consumables sub ledgers for the facility to identify possible areas for cost-saving, and creating and implementing additional controls and policies to standardize the materials process.

Successful applicant must have strong work ethics and positive team attitude, problem solving, communication and time management skills; must be capable of working alone and in a team environment.

**This role also requires**:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Thorough knowledge of MRP, ERP system and Business Management software systems and data entry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Able to consistently represent the company in a professional manner
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Requires a high degree of professional integrity, ethics, and confidentiality
- Sound analytical thinking, attention to detail, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
- Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor
- Strong team building skills and customer service focus
- Knowledge of Meridian Manufacturing Inc products and processes an asset
- Highly motivated and self-directed capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
