**REPORTS TO**: Environmental Services Supervisor

**LOCATION**:Initial Placement
- ***Gilbert Water Plant / Mobile

**Job Duties**:

- To help with the upkeep of grounds, buildings, and other assets in the County of Brant.
- Provide good customer service as needed.
- Cleaning and painting at water facilities, painting of fire hydrants.
- Landscape maintenance including grass cutting/trimming.
- Outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in post-secondary school and returning to school in September.
- Familiar with operation of hand tools.
- General mechanical aptitude.
- Valid driver's licence (G or G2).
- Access to a personal vehicle in the course of employment.
- Physical ability to perform essential job duties.
- Self starter with a good work ethic.
- Ability to undertake outdoor and physical work in all weather conditions.
- Painting and landscaping skills would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge and experience in a municipal government setting would be considered an asset.

**Conditions of Employment**:
**Duration**:April 29th, 2024 to August 30th, 2024

**Hourly rate**: $18.33 (2023 rate)

**Hours per week**:40 hours/week - 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

**You must be enrolled in a post-secondary Institution and returning to school in the fall in order to qualify for this position.**
