**Position**: Manager, Product Services Group & Investment Funds, Global Portfolio Advisory Group Scotia Wealth Management

**Purpose**:
Contributes to the overall success of the Product Services Group & Investment Funds, Global Portfolio Advisory Group (GPAG) / Scotia Wealth Management in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted comply with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

**Accountabilities**:
Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.

Management of risk ratings by:
Monitor security risk ratings within PortfolioAid (PA360) to ensure ratings are in line with prescribed methodology

Research new securities to determine appropriate risk rating.

Support Advisors with risk rating inquiries

Liase with the Business, Compliance and Portfolio Aid to incorporate methodology changes

Management of securities database

Maintain database of approved products for distribution including continuous offerings, non-syndicated offerings and products available for accredited investors

Research and review new securities to determine appropriate classification

Support key Product Services Group functions

Compile daily, monthly and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders including senior executives

Accountable for validation and verification reviews of weekly/monthly reports and functions to ensure adherence to Audit and Compliance standards.

Partner with other relevant functional areas ie. Operations, Compliance & Legal, Marketing, Fee Based Group, Asset Management to ensure product updates are communicated

Keep abreast of industry product development and practices and new regulations and incorporate into processes as required

Creates an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

**Education/Experience**:

- Minimum 5years of finance-related experience
- Post-secondary degree required (Commerce or Business Administration degree preferred)
- Strong skills in analytics; written and verbal communication; relationship building; self-management; and attention to detail
- Professional Integrity
