To help drive our rapidly growing business, we are seeking a Technical Support to join our team.
Competencies/Qualifications:
- Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Environmental or similar Engineering degree
- 3-5 years experience in customer technical support
- Experience working in the water/wastewater industry an asset
- Attention to detail, highly organized and effective project and time management skills
- Possess a results-oriented, proactive work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Entrepreneurial, driven, willingness to learn, problem-solver and professional
- Ability to travel regularly for onsite installation, training and field support
- A valid driver’s licence and clean driving record
- A valid passport and willingness for international travel
Real Tech is looking for an experienced Technical Support to be responsible for providing technical customer service support both remotely and onsite to municipal and industrial clients as well as channel partners and sales reps across several industrial sectors including: oil and gas, chemical, pulp and paper, and food & beverage.
**Responsibilities**:
- Communicate with existing and potential clients to understand their specific processes to identify client challenges and needs focusing on driving value and producing success reports
- Travel to industrial client sites for the purpose of installation, training and technical field repair and support
- Drive a culture that is highly responsive to clients, providing accurate, comprehensive and timely information
- Provide comprehensive technical and after sale support to channel partners and end users
- Interpret client specific drawings and understand client processes
- Develop and maintain improved documentation, manuals and content to support client success after sale
