WHO IS THE WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR?
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the distribution center day-to-day functions by engaging and developing Full-time and Part-time team members.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOMPLISHING IN THE ROLE

- Effectively leading a team of Full-Time and Part-Time employees

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Warehouse and Distribution Management certification preferred
- 3-5 years of proven experience supervising in a plant or warehouse setting is required.
- Experience in a retail warehouse is considered an asset.
- Experience in a unionized environment is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proactive and self-motivated
- The ability to trouble shoot, problem solve and make quick decisions.
- Advanced computer skills and experience using ERP systems, Google and MS Office products.
- Awareness of the Health & Safety Act and other applicable employment legislation
- Strong communication, management, and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated team player who can manage a team.
- Positive and passionate attitude that can work cross-functionally.
- Availability to work a full-time retail rotation schedule which includes daytime, evening and weekend shifts as well as peak periods such as March Anniversary and Boxing Week5-7 years experience working in public accounting or finance management roles.
