**Business Development Coordinator**
The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the department with identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities by generating leads, maintaining client relationships, and fostering growth of current business. The Business Development Coordinator supports the business development and marketing strategy through collaboration with the team members at Morris Interactive as they build strong relationships to drive revenue growth year by year. The Business Development Coordinator conducts market analysis, initiates contact with prospects, generates leads and sales, maintains relationships with existing clients to address their needs, and completes a range of administrative responsibilities.
The Business Development Coordinator possesses exceptional technical sales writing and understanding skills in business development, consulting, and learning and development projects, has knowledge of working with CRM’s, and a strong customer service focus on the client and team member needs. Experience working with indigenous organizations is considered an asset.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate Business Development activities, including generating leads, writing and adapting proposals, scheduling appointments, and following up with clients.
- Advance leads through all business development, marketing, and project activities.
- Support the Business Development team by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses and managing customer databases.
- Collaborate with other departments such as finance, operations, learning and development, marketing, and HR to ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
- Support the communication and onboarding of new clients to effectively transition project management to the LINK Strategy, Learning and Development and Operations team to the point of project launch or as needed by the Morris Interactive team.
- Assisting operations further by onboarding all projects in a manner that is clear and efficient and limits the opportunity for consistent scope creep. Troubleshooting as needed with client challenges.
- Writing and distributing agendas, proposals, cost estimates, proposals, agreements and briefing documents for internal and external meetings
- Attend conferences, trade shows, and other events to promote the company and identify potential opportunities.
- Develop and present opportunities for growth and strategy to the Business Development Team.
- Liaison with all professionals within the company that includes consultants, operations staff, support staff, management and the CEO, to effectively scope new projects from business development or project delivery.
