**FUND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER**

We are seeking a dynamic Fund Development Manager with the drive to succeed and a knack for securing funding and resources to support our mission.

**POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fund development strategy to secure financial resources for our food-focused programs
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, foundations, corporations, and government demonstrating the value and impact of our work.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to create and execute fundraising campaigns, innovative events, and initiatives to engage the community and increase donor participation.
- Utilize data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising efforts, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
- Lead the acquisition and integration of a new donor management software system.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- You thrive in a results-oriented environment and are motivated by success. You have a natural ability to set and achieve ambitious goals, driving yourself and the team to surpass expectations.
- Proven track record in fund development and grants, with a focus on securing major gifts, grants, and corporate sponsorships.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the organization's mission and impact to various audiences.
- Strong relationship-building skills, to effectively cultivate and steward partnerships with donors, sponsors, and community stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with nonprofit operations, fundraising software, and donor management systems is preferred.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field with 3 to 5 years of progressive leadership/industry responsibility. Equivalencies considered.
- Strong knowledge of Office 365.
- Schedule flexibility based on events and engagement opportunities.
