St. Michael’s Health Group is seeking a full-time (38.75 hrs/wk) professional to help in digital projects across the entire organization. Located in Edmonton, the Fund Development Officer, reports to the Director, Development and Communications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Responsible for day-to-day fundraising activities for St. Michael’s Health Group including all annual campaigns and initiatives.
- Will be the internal fundraising lead for our $9M Capital Campaign for Fenwyck Heights.
- Will assist to identify funding/grant sources, proposal writing, fundraising events.
- The development of fundraising campaigns.
- Assists with all aspects of donor management for all St. Michael’s Health Group facilities.
- Will assist with preparing communications materials related to fundraising and will jointly maintain media and stakeholder/donor contact lists with the Communications and Marketing Officer.
- Will work together with Communications and other SMHG staff on assigned projects and tasks. [CB1]
- Other related duties as required.

Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite. High proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) and other visual design tools. Experience using Content Management Systems such as WordPress. Proficient in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and has a good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
