**The Opportunity**

**Permanent Full Time - FTE 1.0 - 77.5 hours biweekly**

Reporting to the Executive Director, Fund Development and Communications, the Fund Development Coordinator manages the charitable giving and fundraising activities for SCF. This role is responsible for the development and implementation of fundraising programs and initiatives to grow and diversify philanthropic revenue streams.

The Fund Development Coordinator plays an integral role in cultivating donor relationships and will be actively engaged in the community. The role is responsible for contributing to a positive public image of SCF through all activities while building brand awareness.

A current valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract acceptable to the Employer are required to travel between sites. A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation is considered a strong asset.

Shepherd’s Care Foundation is a mission driven, faith-based, not-for-profit organization providing quality care and accommodations to more than 900 seniors throughout Edmonton and in Barrhead. Our seven campuses provide living options for residents with a full spectrum of care needs, including independent living, supportive living, and supportive living with dementia, long-term care, and complex care.
