The Opportunity

Columbia College is looking for **Sessional **Political Science Instructors** to teach the University Transfer courses on campus.

**These part-time sessional positions** will commence in September 2023 and will end in December 2023.**

Key Responsibilities

The instructor’s primary responsibilities include the planning, teaching, marking, and grading of the appointed course/s.
- **Master’s degree in Political Science**
- Face-to-face experience teaching Political Science at another post-secondary institution.
- Excellent expertise with Learning Management Systems (Knowledge and experience with Moodle is an asset)
- Demonstrated success in innovative or student-centered teaching techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience in teaching a diverse student body.

Salary

We offer an attractive compensation**:$8,252.78 per course for a Master's degree** **holder** and **$9,211.36 per course for a Ph.D. holder**.
