The Opportunity

Columbia College is looking for **Computer Science **Sessional Instructor **to teach the following University Transfer Course on campus.
- **
CSCI 165, Introduction to the Internet and the World Wide Web, sec (N15)** - Tuesday and Friday from 14:00 pm to 15:55 pm & Wednesday from 15:00 pm to 16:00 pm.

This part-time sessional position will** commence in September 2023 and end in December 2023.**

Key Responsibilities

Instructors' primary responsibilities include planning, teaching, marking, and grading the appointed course/s.
- **Master’s degree in Computer Science**
- Online and face-to-face **experience teaching Computer Science** at another post-secondary institution.
- Excellent expertise with Learning Management Systems (Knowledge and experience with Moodle is an asset)
- Demonstrated success in innovative or student-centered teaching techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience in teaching a diverse student body.

Salary

We offer competitive compensation. For example, for a course with five contact hours and two office hours, we **offer $9,628.24 for a master’s degree **holder and $**10,746.58 for a Ph.D. holder**. The course compensation is linked to **teaching hours**.
