The Opportunity

Columbia College is looking for **Sessional History Instructor **to teach the following University Transfer Course on campus:

- **
History 110 - Canada to 1867**, section (16) - Monday and Thursday from 16:00 pm to 17:55 pm

This part-time sessional position will** commence in May 2023 and end in August 2023.**

Key Responsibilities

Instructors' primary responsibilities include planning, teaching, marking, and grading the appointed course/s.
- **Master's degree** in **History.**
- Online and face-to-face **experience teaching History** at another post-secondary institution.
- Excellent expertise with Learning Management Systems (Knowledge and experience with Moodle is an asset)
- Demonstrated success in innovative or student-centered teaching techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience in teaching a diverse student body.

Salary

We offer an attractive compensation**: $8,252.78 per course for a Master's degree** holder and **$9,211.36 per course for a Ph.D.** holder.
