Membership Services and Event Registration

**Purpose**
Deliver quality membership service, event registration, and administration to CIAJ members, program participants, event attendees, and internal team members. Activate membership recruitment and renewal campaigns. Serve as custodian of collaborative tools and ensure the integrity of content on all fronts.
**Responsibilities**
▪Process new memberships - individual and institutional
▪Automate and oversee membership renewals
▪Provide member services, direction and support and solve complaints
▪Ensure database integrity and updates and membership directory updates on the web site
▪Build registration forms for speakers and participants
▪Process registration and payments for all programs and events, issue receipts and invoices
▪Update collaborative tools, matrixes, and tables in SharePoint
▪Assist with accounts receivables and reporting
▪Issue letters of thanks, congratulations, and other communications
▪Administrative support to management and conference planners
▪Purchase and prepare badge stock, materials, office suppliers and event shipments
**Competencies and skills**
- Bilingual, oral and written
- Ease with contact management systems (CMS, CRM, database)
- Intermediate level in MSOffice
- Ability with extracting data and issuing reports
- Correspondence writing skills
- Ability to multitask and be solution-driven
- Proactive, efficient, and detail-oriented
- Formal training in administration studies, event coordination, IT or the equivalent
- 2 years’ experience in administration, customer care or events
- Experience in associations and not-for-profit organizations is an asset
**Salary**: $54,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Databases: 2 years (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (required)
**Language**:
- French (required)
