The Research, Acquired Brain Injury Department, located in Halifax, is a research unit designed to support clinical and health research throughout Nova Scotia Health, the IWK Health Centre, and Dalhousie University's Faculties of Medicine, Health Professions and Dentistry

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Psychometrist contributes to the ongoing psychometric data collection for a designated research study by administration of psychometric tests, scoring test data, and by assisting with study administration.

**Qualifications**:

- Undergraduate honours degree specializing in either psychology or neuroscience from a recognized university
- Completion of an undergraduate level neuropsychology or abnormal psychology course
- Completion of an assessment course or equivalent training is an asset
- Previous trained experience administering and scoring neuropsychological or other psychometric tests an asset
- Knowledge of (or commitment to training in) administration and scoring of standardized psychological tests
- Experience interacting with individuals with neurological or psychiatric disorders
- Meticulous attention to detail required
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working computer knowledge which includes Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and SPSS
- Demonstrated self-starter, decision maker and problem solver
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks effectively
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Hours of Work**:
Full-Time, Long Assignment position; 75 hours bi-weekly

**Salary Information**:
$ 27.62- $34.53

($53,868.57 - $67,335.57 annual salary)
