**Field Service Specialist - Electric Vehicules**:

This position is to lead residential & commercial commissioning operations and service repair activities on electric vehicle chargers.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Reviews products specifications.
- Participates in technical training & presentation.
- Reviews, interprets and comments on technical specifications.
- Performs field assessment to solve customers’ operational problems.
- Performs field testing, inspections and repairs.
- Optimizes equipment performance to match client needs.
- Recommend & document strategies to resolve technical problems.
- Performs technical product support and key processes.
- Handles post commissioning warranty activities.
- Maintains awareness of market trends and evolving product portfolio.
- Follows scheduling and administrative procedures.
- Participates and follows safety procedures and promotes a safe working environment.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor of Engineering (3-5 years min.) or Engineering Technician (7-10 years min.)
- Field service experience in power generation, protection, transmission, distribution, power electronics, drives, electric vehicle charging, etc
- Strong interpersonal skills with customers and co-workers is extremely important.
- Self-motivated and ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously (as required).
- Ability to formulate, document and present solutions to technical problems.
- Able and willing to be called as a lead for customer emergency situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (added value if in French as well).
- Safety minded and proven safe work record.
- Strong computer skills: MS Office Suite, Linux environment would be an asset.
- See problems as a challenge and be able to find solutions through research and peer networking.
- Must have a good driving record for the provided electric service vehicle.
