Manitoba Health is seeking to fill a Reporting Analyst position within the Information Management and Analytics branch. The Information Management & Analytics (IMA) branch leads the Provincial Information Management and Analytics (PIMA) Shared Service, and maintains the Provincial Data Repository (PDR) and other IMA databases.

Qualifications:
**Essential**:

- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Community Health Sciences, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Graduate degree in a relevant discipline is an asset.
- Experience developing performance reports, dashboards and/or performance indicators.
- Extensive experience in gathering requirements from various stakeholders and translating into work tasks and deliverables.
- Experience conducting quantitative data analysis with complex database domains.
- Experience testing, reviewing and documenting the operational steps of report generation.
- Experience with SQL querying languages and using Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Strong analytical skills to draw meaningful inferences and insights from complex data.
- Excellent written communication skills to produce complex written material for a variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships and collaborate in a team environment.

**Desired**:

- Knowledge of health information and its uses for indicator development, planning, surveillance, and evaluation purposes.
