**Sales Development Representative**

**Opportunity**

**Position/role**:

- Proactively contact prospects and CRM contacts over the phone (20-50+ calls each day)
- Maintain and update our CRM to grow your pipeline through effective and proactive customer life cycle management initiatives
- Work closely with the business team to consistently achieve the highest level of meaningfull activity to achieve monthly measurable goals and drive to exceed competitive sales activity
- Leveraging the most innovative marketing and sales approach to be consistent and thorough with all your daily activity
- Learn to learn how to grow and become an expert-level representative committed to continuous learning and professional development
- Develop career-lasting attributes in the sales professional

**Desired experience**:

- A proven strategic thinker with clear experience in the Software Industry
- Public city service knowledge is an asset
- Minimum of 5 years of targeted work experience preferably in a business-to-business sales role within communications, and technology.
- Post-secondary education in business or related discipline is a vital asset or equivalent work experience in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment
- Strong technical aptitude to figure things out on your own (keyboarding, MS Office, capacity to learn new systems) with a passion for new technology
- Self-directed and motivated with strong organizational and time management skills, attentive to detail
- Dedicated to the provision of exemplary customer service; consistently takes the initiative to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction
- Investigative personality, excellent judgment, driven to succeed, and adept at listening, understanding, and iconverting this into opportunities for the company.
- Team-oriented, willing to learn, share knowledge and succeed with your colleagues to ensure an optimal team performance

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
