The Assistant Salon Manager/Nail Technician position is an integral role of the management team. Reporting to the Co-Founder/CEO, the Assistant Salon Manager/Nail Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the salon and ensuring that all services are completed safely and to Revelry’s standard. All other employees report to the Assistant Salon Manager/Nail Technician.

You will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

- Performing high-quality manicures and pedicures including regular polish, gel polish, builder gel, builder gel length enhancements, and nail art to Revelry Beauty Bar standards
- Cleaning and disinfecting duties including implements, stations, pedicure tubs, laundry, and general housekeeping
- Opening and closing duties
- Customer service: Answering and resolving client queries and issues, ensuring clients feel welcome, have their needs met, and have a great experience. Building customer loyalty is key.
- Building our brand: Educating clients about what we stand for: a fun, high-end, safe, and non-toxic experience.
- Sales: Demonstrating business savvy and understanding how behaviours and efforts on the floor impact business metrics.
- Management support: Support management in ensuring staff are aware and complying with company standards including but not limited to health and safety, respectful workplace, attendance, time, integrity, and service procedures. Assisting management in the development and continued improvement of policies and procedures.
- Stock and inventory: Ensuring adequate supply of tools, supplies, and products are in the salon at the right times, and ensuring appropriate use by staff.
- Staff: Ensuring staff are providing excellent service, are motivated and doing their best work. Direct and maintain discipline and morale of the staff. Training and developing existing employees as well as new hires. Fostering a healthy and positive attitude and working relationships with coworkers and management. Ongoing performance management of the team.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

- Accredited esthetician/nail technician certification
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Detailed oriented and creative
- Efficient in multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to change
- Warm, friendly, positive personality
- Dependable, punctual, and reliable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
