Accounting Assistant:
This position will start with approximately 24 hours per week with payroll Monday required.
- must have working knowledge Quick Books Online with add-on software such as SOS Inventory.
- possess a good working knowledge of Quick Books Enterprise (Desktop) and to assist in implementation of QBED.
- will be responsible for bi-weekly payroll entry, must have experience with ADP Team Pay and EZ Labor including new hires, ROE’s T4’s and reporting.
- must have experience in AP processes and reconciliations.
- AR monitoring and reconciliations, assist with collections.
- involved in creating Inventory controls and purchasing processes.
- support monthly, quarterly and year end financial close activities.
- a good knowledge of Excel, intermediate to advanced, ie.pivot tables and simple Macros
- good Word skills including tables and flow charts.
- help maintain proper and complete filing system to support financial records.
- other duties and projects as assigned including holiday coverage for front end reception.

Qualifications:
Post-Secondary Diploma in Bookkeeping/Accounting, Business Administration, or related field would be an asset
