Light Assembly

As a Light Assembly worker, you will assist with assembling aerospace tooling, hospital carts and any other basic assembly tasks required. This role is critical to the reputation that Ebco has built for delivering world-class quality manufacturing.

Ebco Industries, Ltd. (Ebco) is one of Canada’s largest manufacturing facilities with over 65 years in manufacturing expertise. We deliver world-class quality manufacturing and repair and rebuild services to projects based domestically and worldwide. Our strengths encompass the complete spectrum from heavy metal fabrication, heavy machining, turnkey assembly to light precision machining and fabrication as well as precision sheet metal fabrication. Our customers range from small and/or start-up companies to world class suppliers of OEM capital equipment and machinery. Our headquarters and manufacturing facility is located in Richmond, B.C. Canada.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- General assembly of parts in accordance with drawing/model
- Follow instructions carefully and sign off appropriate paperwork
- Communicating effectively with other workers to direct personal workflow
- Operating the equipment in a safe manner and reporting hazards associated with the equipment or its operators to appropriate Supervisor.
- Cleaning and maintaining an orderly work area
- Other duties as directed by supervisor.
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Knowledge and experience of working with hand-tools and power tools
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and meet deadlines
- MIG welding experience an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing and speaking) to Supervisors and other related departments
- Ability to lift or move 50 lbs. or less
- Forklift experience an asset
