The purpose of the financial coordinator position is to support the financial health of the office by creating and following up on financial agreements with patients. Our goal is to not let finances prevent patients from receiving orthodontic treatment by offering flexible in-house financing options with affordable payment options.
- Majority of the time will be at our Richmond location and there will be some days working out of our Vancouver location
- No previous dental experience needed. We will provide all necessary job training.
- Past experience working with money, numbers, or financials are a must
- This position is full-time.
**Responsibilities**:
- Create payment plans for new patients
- Post payments and run day-end deposit reports
- Follow up with accounts that are past due and handle collections
- Create statements, collections letters, and other administrative letters
- Run regular reports to monitor payment status and financial health of office
- Help out wherever and whenever possible
**Requirements**:
- Must be detailed-oriented and organized.
- Previous experience with working with numbers and/or money (e.g. banking, sales, etc).
- Product knowledge and ongoing training will be provided and there will be opportunity to grow in job duties and responsibilities.
- No previous dental experience needed.
- Ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset
- Position is full time.

**Salary**: $23.00-$28.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:

We are doing everything we can to keep our team safe. We provide all PPE such as masks, gloves, face shields and our office has HEPA air filters. We pre-screen all patients prior to entering the office for COVID symptoms.
