**_Maico Hearing Service_** is a hearing health care clinic that has been providing services through locations in St. John’s, Gander, Grand Falls-Windsor and Corner Brook for over 50 years. **_Main Responsibilities_**
- Reconciling accounts
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closing
- Maintaining general ledgers and financial statements
- Writing cheques for employee travel/expense reimbursement
- Monitoring and analyzing financial information and meeting with the clinic owner to review accounting data and provide financial reports as required
- Completing GST/HST quarterly remittance
- Issuing invoices, statements and past-due letters as required
- Conducting research to answer financial/administrative questions as requested
- Performing other administrative duties as required
- **Job Skills, Knowledge and Abilities**_
- Two plus years of experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks/Sage
- A professional presence
- Adept at multi-tasking and prioritizing duties in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills that allow for cooperative working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and patients. This includes listening and problem-solving skills and the ability to deal with others in a warm, caring and respectful manner.
- Must be detailed-oriented
- Passion for working in a growth-oriented field, with the ability to demonstrate personal commitment and drive to set and exceed high standards
- Must maintain the integrity of confidential financial and patient information
- Flexible and able to adapt to ongoing changes and growth in the role & duties

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
