Stairlift Installation and Service Technician

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Install and service residential Stannah Stairlifts to meet national and local standards and in line with the company’s policies.
- Diagnose and report all installation, maintenance, and service faults on the appropriate installation reports/work order reports.
- Repair and perform maintenance according to company manuals and policies
- Always use hand power tools confidently and safely.
- Ensure that the customer or stairlift user has a full and thorough understanding of the operation of the stairlift at the time of handover.
- Ensure that your company vehicle is stocked with the appropriate parts and supplies.
- Project a professional image and represent the company responsibly, maintain confidentiality and be always polite and patient with customers.
- Maintain company equipment, tools, vehicles and property in good working order and safe condition at all times.
- Operate company vehicles and equipment in a safe and law-abiding fashion.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**EDUCATION & OTHER REQUIREMENTS**
- Completion of 2- or 3-year college program in electronics **OR**
- Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship program in electronics repair and service **OR**
- Completion of high school or college courses in electronics with on-the-job training **OR**
- Ontario Trade certification for electronics technicians
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record is a must

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
