**Position Title: Corrosion Technician (5 positions)**

**Location: Markham, Ontario**

**, permanent, on-site position**

**GENERAL FUNCTION**:
The Corrosion Technician is responsible for the field-level scope associated with the various projects undertaken by CSCL. To achieve this objective, the Corrosion Technician’s primary responsibilities are:

- Assist with the completion of tasks related to overline survey/construction projects. Examples of field tasks are as follows:

- Cathodic Protection Surveys.
- Indirect Inspections.
- Capital Construction Projects.
- Corrosion Inhibitor casing projects.
- Technical equipment installation.
- Rectifier Troubleshooting and Repairs
- Assist with the completion of tasks related to field testing of AC mitigation projects.
- Maintenance and operational function of assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Applicants should be university or college graduates from an electrical/electronics engineering or technology program.
- Any cathodic protection background will be an asset.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly, and willing to routinely work outdoors.
- Good oral, written, and problem-solving skills are considered an asset.
- Good initiative, adaptable, flexible, and team player.
- Experience in the oil and gas pipeline industry is recommended.
