**Position Summary**

Shared Services is seeking a smart, approachable, team orientated individual to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Support Coordinator.

**Duties**
- Drafts, edits, and/or reviews job ads for the UofA Careers website and other external advertising mediums (print publications and websites) in consultation with clients.
- Verifies recruitment information with clients; validates hiring approvals/exemption list; checks job evaluation database (JETS), PeopleSoft and other systems, and with relevant HRHSE departments.
- Enters postings into the Recruitment Database and prepares for submission to the Duty to Accommodate and Recall process. Refers any DTA/Recall related inquiries to the Recall Office.
- Updates and modifies postings as requested by clients, ensuring compliance with UofA guidelines, UAPPOL, Service Canada and immigration requirements in consultation with the Manager, Talent Acquisition, Immigration and Records and Talent Management Centre of Expertise (COE).
- Fulfills external advertising requests and placements; works with the external advertising provider to facilitate the placement of external recruitment ads; reconciles external advertising invoices and maintains records for future billing inquiries or immigration related inquiries.
- Refers relevant inquiries to other specialised areas: Immigration, Talent Management COE, other relevant departments for consultation.
- Assists the area with interview scheduling and other logistics. Schedules other hiring-related processes such as second interviews.
- Assists Hiring Manager and HR Partners (where applicable) with Interview Guide creation using the HRHSE Interview Tool.
- Completes reference checks.
- Provides administrative support throughout all stages of the recruitment cycle.
- Facilitates the administration of Special Employment Programs.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum certificate in Human Resources
- Minimum 1 year of related experience required; experience in a Human Resources/Recruitment function, using Recruitment and Advertising Database is desired
- Comprehensive knowledge of related provincial and Canadian legislation and collective agreements and handbooks
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and multitasking
- Knowledge of, and ability to maintain compliance with University policies and procedures is an asset
- Ability to work in a situation where confidentiality of information is critical
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
