Intermediate Business Analyst to support HR technology and process transformation initiatives using Human Centered/LEAN design principles for our Major Insurance Client - 10311 Location: Hybrid (Waterloo) Hours: 37.5 Duration: 12 months with possible 6 month extension Reason behind the need: This opportunity is for a 12-18 month maternity leave Job Description: In this role you will work with the team that leads the development and enhancement of our insurance client's global suite of HR tools. As a trusted partner to our HR Center of Excellence, you will support HR Transformation technology projects including the support and optimization of our Human Resource Management System and Learning technologies. You will inform and execute against the HR Comms and EEx strategy through the analysis, interpretation, and translation of technology requirements into action. Working with the Global Experience Solutions Consultants, you will collect and document requirements, plan, and coordinate testing, and support all change management and implementation activities.  You will be accountable for driving human centered design practices by leading design sessions with assigned HR CoE leads. We are looking for someone who can:

- Usher and help drive our HR technology and process transformation initiatives, globally
- Provide recommendations for improving HR processes and systems that complement and support business goals
- Participate in our internal HR tech council and transformation committee, ensuring adoption of all internal governance and risk processes.
- Inform transformation and change management efforts
- Work with global project and stakeholder groups across different time zones while maintaining positive relationships with colleagues across HR CoE partners.
- Supports the CoE in procurement practices including vendor management/compliance, contract renewals, and RFPs.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and HR data privacy policy. Must Have:

- 5+ yrs *Business Analyst* experience working on *HR/Communications* *business transformation projects*
- Proven experience redesigning processes using *Human Centered and/or LEAN* design principles
- Strong understanding of HRIS, HR/ER and communication cloud technologies (i.e *Workday, Archer, SharePoint, Snapcomms*, etc) Education
- Bachelor's Degree, ideally in an HR or IT discipline
- Deep knowledge of enterprise-wide Technology optimization and or deployments in the space of Core HR, Communications, ER and Analytics
- Human centered design certification, an asset
- CHRP/CHRL or PMP Certification an asset.

Pay: From $45.00 per hour
