**Job Summary**:
The **Financial Analyst** shall be responsible for assisting the Canada Controller-Envelope division with the management of overall financial operations of SupremeX Inc., and will work with the controller to provide accurate information to Management, including analysis, budgeting, forecasting and preparing financial reports. The Financial Analyst will aid the Controller in directing and managing the company's accounting functions, including establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures, preparing financial statements and reporting to top management and externally. The Financial Analyst will also maintain the company's accounting systems and implement changes as required by the Controller.

**Responsibilities**:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for maintaining and managing the local Financial and Cost Costing Accounting functions, which include:

- Monitoring the results of completed jobs to identify input errors and other anomalies as revealed in variances between actual and estimated cost
- Identifying the causes of variances from budget
- Balancing the intercompany accounts
- Performing inventory adjustments as needed
- Reconciling all Balance Sheet accounts monthly
- Timely fulfilling (and documenting the performance of) tasks outlined in the monthly accounting close checklist
- Monitoring the credit worthiness of customers (by establishing proper credit limits and ensuring timely collection of accounts receivable
- Responding to audit inquiries and data/documentation requests
- Ensure Inventory is performed monthly
- All Month-end Journal Entries are completed
- Trial Balance is reconciled
- Prepare all required monthly reports for review with Controller
- Payroll booking and reporting
- All other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Must have a minimum Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA designation is an asset)
- Must have 3-5 years of experience
- Prior experience in month end closing & analysis preferably in manufacturing
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Attention to detail
- Work well within a team as well as work with mínimal supervision
- Work within set deadlines
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Power BI knowledge
- Microsoft Dynamics AX is an asset
- Working/practical knowledge of Accounting Principles

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
