**What you will do**:

- The Specialist is responsible for providing technical expertise and support for complex business systems.

**Design and develop technical solutions**:

- Provides technical leadership, mentorship, and coaching to foster an empowered work environment.
- Accountable for the technical development and solutions for Pipeline and Facility Integrity Applications.
- Actively participate in implementation(s) across multi dispensary teams and/or business units
- Perform development tasks where required.
- Perform and/or creates User Acceptance Testing for all deliverables throughout product lifecycle.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of standards, policies and procedures.

**Translate business requirements into functional technical specification/use cases**:

- Prepare detailed fit for purpose technical specifications in the format and level of detail for an agile delivery model.
- Analyze software problems, data issues and workflows - recommends and actions solutions.
- Continual service improvement by documenting solutions and operating procedures
- Coordinate with BA’s, and other internal IT where required to resolve complex technical issues
- Leverage experience to identify opportunities to improve business effectiveness through technology.

**Collaborate with Managed Service Provider to deliver on operational tasks: -**
- Coach and mentor, a managed service team to ensure daily operational tasks are performed correctly and on time.
- Review enhancement requests and provide design insights as required to managed service team - Perform technical reviews of deliverables from managed service team.

**Who you are**:
**Required**:

- 6 or more years of full stack software development experience
- Related University Degree or a two-year technical diploma
- Broad knowledge of computer systems technology, programming and design techniques
- Experience with DevOps and/or Agile software development
- Understanding of automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Understanding of big data architecture and Platform as a Service (PaaS)
- Familiar with data migration, transformation, and scripting
- Proficient in source control tools (GitHub) and familiar with development aiding tools
- Understanding of Application integration security (Key Vault / Private Endpoints)

**Preferred**
- A university degree or diploma in Computing Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline is Preferred.
- 3+ years of team leadership experience
- Understanding of Azure Stack (Azure WebApp / Function App)
- Understanding of Azure Data Engineering (ADF / Databricks / Azure SQL / NoSQL)
- Oil and Gas industry experience with knowledge of Pipeline Integrity Operations business lifecycles
- Experience in working with managed service providers.
